Cardiac Surgery

We treat coronary artery disease with Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) as well as Beating Heart Bypass Surgery (OPCAB). For those with coronary artery disease too severe to accept a bypass graft, we offer laser Transmyocardial Revascularization (TMR). We are currently working with physicians at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center implanting patients’ own bone marrow stem cells into areas of dead heart muscle in order to regain function.

A vast experience with valve surgery allows us to preserve and repair your own leaking valve in many cases. When valve repair is not an option, we have a broad range of prosthetic valves available to best select the type and size suited to each patient.

We perform all types of pacemaker surgery, including implantation and upgrading of single and dual chamber pacemakers, biventricular pacemakers and defibrillators.
